What time is check-in and check-out at White Doe Inn?
Check-in is between 3:00 PM and 5:30 PM. Check-out is at 11:00 AM. If you arrive early, you’re welcome to leave your luggage with us and enjoy the grounds, gardens, and downtown Manteo while your room is prepared.
Is breakfast included with my stay?
Yes. A multi-course chef-prepared breakfast is included every morning, served from 8:30 to 9:30 AM. Our chef uses the freshest ingredients and accommodates all dietary needs — let us know your requirements when you book. Complimentary afternoon refreshments are also available daily.

Policies
Does White Doe Inn allow pets?
Yes, in one room. The Garden Bedchamber is our only pet-friendly room. We welcome one well-behaved dog up to 30 lbs. An advance pet reservation is required, and a $35 fee per pet, per night is added to your folio. This pet fee is refundable if you cancel your reservation or remove your dog from the booking. Are children welcome at White Doe Inn?
White Doe Inn welcomes guests ages 12 and older. The inn’s historic architecture, antique furnishings, and tranquil atmosphere are best suited for adults and older children.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations made 15 or more days before arrival receive a refund of the deposit minus a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 14 days of arrival, or no-shows, are non-refundable and charged in full. The remaining balance of your stay is charged 14 days before arrival. Reservations booked through Expedia, Booking.com, or other third parties are non-refundable and must be handled through that third party.

Is parking available at White Doe Inn?
Yes. Complimentary on-site parking is available for all guests. The inn is also a 10-minute walk to downtown Manteo shops, restaurants, and the waterfront, so many guests leave their cars parked for the duration of their stay.

Yes. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the inn and on the grounds.

Yes. White Doe Inn hosts intimate weddings, elopements, vow renewals, reunions, and retreats for up to 28 guests. Elopement packages start at $999 and include a coordinator, officiant, photography, flowers, cake, and private dinner. The inn’s gardens, gazebo, and the nearby Manteo Waterfront are popular ceremony locations.
