It is the best time of year - no crowds, the days are still warm and one can feel a chill in the air as evening approaches.

Roanoke Islanders dress their homes for Autumn in early October beginning the traditional holiday season. The Great Pumpkin will be out Halloween Night holding court on the front steps, awaiting all the little witches and goblins that come looking for treats. This year we are getting our guests in the spirit with a Halloween treat of their own.
